From the 22nd to the 26th of April I was in Salzburg, Austria, for two projects.  In the first instance on the 23rd I was invited by Prof. Sabine Coelsch-Foisner to give an illustrated lecture about my work as a composer and conductor at the University of Salzburg.  During the lecture, three of my compositions were played live as illustrations (3 Songs for Phaedra, Monologo, and Capriccio).  Then on the two successive days, two concerts dedicated solely to my chamber works were played at the Kunstler Haus.  They were performed by the OENM (Osterrich Ensemble for Neue Musik). Besides the works already mentioned, these included Canti, Segments No 2, and 5 Miniatures.  Cellist Peter Sigl also gave the world premier of my piece for solo violoncello Meditation, op.125.
