I attended this event Quinto I Vicentino, Italy, (18th – 20th May) with a sense of great involvement.  Not only was I asked to Chair the Jury, but I was also very much a part of the performing side, in that each discipline involved had to include one of my pieces as a test piece, namely, Flute (Pan Revisited), Clarinet (Song for Phaedra No 3),  Violin (Epigramma No 1),  Guitar (Tema con Variazione), Cello (Miniatura),  and Piano (Playing 6, 5, 4, 3, 2……..).  The organizers also offered a Premio Speciale Joseph Vella for the best interpretation of one of my works. The prize was won by cellist Davide Maffolini.
