9th March at 10.30 am – Memorial Event

Venue: Villa Rundle Gardens, Victoria, Gozo

We regret to inform that due to inclement weather, the commemorative event celebrating the life of Joseph Vella, originally planned for Sunday 24th of February, shall be postponed to Saturday 9th March. We regret any inconvenience caused.

As originally planned, the event will be held at Villa Rundle, Victoria Gozo (10.30 am).

A varied programme of speeches and Joseph Vella’s chamber works will culminate in the unveiling of a bust by Minister Justyne Caruana

Our sincere gratitude goes to Minister Justyne Caruana for this kind initiative.

The event will be preceded by the playing of band marches in honour of Maestro Vella (from Teatru Astra to Villa Rundle) at 10.00am.

The Vella family would like to thank the Soċjetà Filarmonika La Stella, besides all other speakers and musicians, for their kind participation.
