On 19 October at San Anton Presidential Palace a concert featuring works by Slovak and Maltese composers was played to a large invited audience, presided over by HE The President and Mrs Abela. The concert was presented by the Embassy of the Slovak Republic in Rome, The Honorary Consulate of the Slovak Republic in Malta, and The Slovak Institute in Rome. The programme consisted of Bohuslav Martinu’s Variations on a popular Slovak Song, Vladimir Godar’s Sonata in Memory of Viktor Schklovsky and two of my compositions : 6 Preludes for Piano op 70, and Meditation for Cello Solo op 125. The two Slovak performers were Nora Skuta (piano) and Jozef Luptak (cello)
