Elegy for Cello and Piano op 66

Yesterday, April 5, at the Kempinski hotel Italian pianist Michelangelo Carbonara and Korean cellist, Kyung Mi Lee gave a concert recital to a large appreciative audience. They gave an excellent interpretation of my ELEGY op 66 , obviously in its version for cello and piano. Ms Lee’s playing was extremely sensitive and lyrical. The audience seems to have loved the piece greatly, judging by the applause at the end.  Michelangelo features in the first half of the programme by playing from memory the version for piano by F.Liszt of Beethove’s 5th Symphony in C minor.  After the interval he was joined by Kyung Mi to play pieces by Brahms, Sibelius and Piazzolla, besides the ELEGY
