On my visit to Lucca where I was invited to present a concert of some of my chamber works, I was also asked to give a talk about my work, mostly that of a composer. It was a very interesting encounter. I enjoyed especially meeting a number of active composers from Lucca, especially with whom, an interesting discussion about compositional techniques, philosophies etc was widely covered. Other members of my audience of note were  Renzo Cresti and Francesco Cipriano. Prof Cresti, a well known historian and music critic with many books to his credit presented me with his latest work: Richard Wagner- The Poetics of the Pure Human.
